Built to withstand large print volumes required by organizations, the N15 Single-Sided Card Printer with MIFARE, Contact Smart Card Encoder & ISO Magnetic Stripe Encoder from Pointman comes equipped with a variety of features that will allow users to quickly produce ID cards that suit their needs. This direct-to-card printer uses thermal transfer technology to produce CR-80 backed cards with a 300 dpi resolution. Additionally, the printer has both USB 2.0 and Ethernet connectivity options with an internal print server for secure printing. This printer is loaded with three options that take ID cards to the next level: The MIFARE/DESFire Card Encoder is an internal RF card read/write station designed for encoding various smart card technologies. The Contact Smart Card Encoder allows for direct encoding of chip-based cards during printing, enhancing security, and functionality. The ISO Magnetic Stripe Encoder enables precise encoding of magnetic stripes on cards.
