With a waterproof depth rating of up to 328', the Black Apollo III Strobe from Marelux offers underwater photographers up to 800 full-power flashes with a 0.6-second recycling time. Using three optional 18650 lithium batteries encased in a waterproof chamber, the strobe uses a specialty-patented design with an MTL mode to support continuous flashes as well as TTL, RC, HSS, and wireless triggering options. Produce 6200K color temperature underwater photographs or add the included white dome diffuser for a 5500K light output.
12 Levels of Power
The Apollo III uses a 12-stop power increment system that is controlled by a light level control knob. The strobe's durable flash tube has been tested to sustain one million full-power flashes
Lumilink 2.0 Wireless Transmitter Compatibility
With a separately available Lumilink 2.0 wireless transmitter, the Apollo III strobe can sync to your camera for remote triggering in M, M-HSS, and MTL modes. In sunny shooting conditions, the strobe stays wirelessly connected to 2.2' while submerged. In deep water with little ambient light available, the strobe triggers up to 32.8' underwater.
Powerful and Continuous Flashes
Support up to 10 continuous shots per second in MTL mode with fiber connection. Capture the following number of continuous shots per second at each power level:
- Light Level 1-5: 10 shots per second
- Light Level 6: 8 shots per second
- Light Level 7: 6 shots per second
- Light Level 8: 6 shots per second
- Light Level 9: 5 shots per second
- Light Level 10: 4 shots per second
- Light Level 11: 4 shots per second
- Light Level 12: 2 shots per second
Lighting Accessories
Achieve different underwater lighting effects and scattered angles of light with the Apollo III's included accessories. The included white dome diffuser adds additional color temperature variety and narrows the strobe's beam of light.
