The Behringer SPICE is a fully analog, semi-modular polyrhythmic and subharmonic synthesizer designed to bring bold, complex, and inspiring sequences to your music production or modular setup. Combining dual VCOs, four sub-oscillators, a 24 dB resonant ladder filter, and an intuitive dual sequencer and polyrhythm generator, SPICE is engineered for sonic experimentation and rhythmic exploration.
Analog Power
At its core are two voltage-controlled oscillators with selectable square and sawtooth waveforms, each paired with two subharmonic generators for deep, layered textures and six-note pseudo-polyphony.
A dedicated mixer section allows real-time control over oscillator levels, giving you rich, customizable harmonic content right from the start.
Sequencing and Modulation
SPICE's dual 4-step analog sequencers are driven by four independent polyrhythm generators, creating intricate timing patterns without requiring deep technical setup.
With variable quantizers, envelope control, clock-syncable tempo options, and a 16x16 modulation matrix, you get hands-on access to complex modulation and timing behavior with ease.
Eurorack Friendly
The unit features a semi-modular design with prewired signal paths for immediate sound creation, but also offers extensive patching via a full 16x16 matrix-perfect for integration with other Eurorack gear.
With 57 front-panel controls, SPICE provides direct access to all key synthesis parameters and supports full MIDI/USB connectivity for tight integration with your existing studio or live setup.
