A sleek means for protecting the front of your lens, the LB-T01 Lens Barrier is a dedicated lens cap for OM SYSTEM Tough TG-1, TG-2, TG-3, TG-4, TG-5, TG-6, and TG-7 cameras. It can remain attached to the camera at all times and opens and closes by rotating the outer ring. It is not compatible with the cameras if the accessory silicone jacket is in place.

Purchases as a backup for a Lens Barrier purchased 5 or so years ago for my TG-5. Very well designed; still works flawlessly. I wanted another in case they were discontinued. This one seems identical except for the OM logo in place of Olympus inside the Barrier. Both made in Thailand.
I agree with the reviewer who believes this should have come with the camera and I don't understand their philosophy of 'you can only have one thing' with their design. However, that doesn't detract from this item. It's well made and does the job. I find this a lot more convenient than traditional lens caps that either have to dangle from a cord or gather lint in your pocket while you're shooting.
