Offering extensive perspective and focus control along with the convenience of working with your digital camera, the black ACTUS-G View Camera Body from Cambo effectively transforms your digital camera or back into a digital view camera. As the core component within a modular system, this view camera body serves as the primary piece from which you can pair a digital camera body with a variety of lenses to reap the benefits of geared camera movements for correcting perspective distortions, achieving an extended depth of field, or producing creative selective focus effects. While resembling traditional large format view cameras in function, the ACTUS system also echoes the compact form factor of the digital cameras it is designed to be paired with and is optimized for use in both the studio as well as on location.
This view camera body is delivered with a 6.1" monorail as well as a 4.9" bellows to permit working with a variety of lens and camera types. The monorail is designed to fit within the Arca-Swiss style quick release system for easy mounting to a tripod, and is also fitted with both 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 mounts for attaching quick release plates. Optional lensplates can be added depending on your desired lens type, and the monorail and bellows is also interchangeable with optional wide-angle and longer versions of each.

The swing and tilt movements of the front standard rotate about the optical axis in order to avoid having to re-compose or re-focus after each movement is applied.

This ACTAR-19 Ultra Wide-Angle Lens is dedicated to the Cambo Actus system in combination with a DSLR or mirrorless camera, mounted to the Actus. This lens is permanently attached to an Actus lens panel and has a focal length of 19mm. This makes it an ideal companion for interior, landscape, and architectural photographers. With a relatively light weight and a modest size it is easy to carry with you to location shootings.
The ACTAR-19 is a lens with almost no geometrical distortion. As the image circle is over 71mm, there is an optically allowed 15mm horizontal shift possible on each side when using a full frame (24 x 36) sensor in landscape mode, and 18mm in portrait mode. Use of the ACTAR-19 on the Actus with FUJIFILM GFX 50/100 series is possible with at least 9mm of shift. When using a digital back with a sensor-activated electronic shutter on the Actus-DB or XL, the image circle will cover a sensor size of 54 x 41.
The optical design features 17 elements in 13 groups, including elements with a Nano Crystal coating. The aperture range is from f/4 to f/32 in half-stop increments. Please note that the aperture is manual and electronic connections are not needed.
Enabling the use of a variety of camera types on the Cambo ACTUS-GFX view camera, the AC-78E Bayonet Holder is an optional component that replaces the GFX camera bayonet on the rear standard. Once attached, this holder can then be paired with a variety of DSLR and mirrorless camera bayonets to extend the versatility of the ACTUS camera system. Additionally, this holder offers 90° internal bayonet rotation for quickly switching between horizontal and vertical shooting orientations.
