Will these work with the Blackmagic 12k Cine LF for high frame rates?
Asked by: Theulen Films
No camera has a PCIe 4 bus. The maximum configurations that are on Blackmagic's recommended list are at 1200 MB/s. This card is recommended at that speed. This camera is capable of recording 4:3 12K BRAW Constant bitrate 3.1 at 4000 MB/s, or constant quality Q0 at up to 4800 MB/s. A Media Module is needed.

Hi, compared to the AV PRO SE 1785MB/s version, on the z8, will it have the advantage of heating less? Thank you :)
Asked by: Laura
One interesting fact is that the Angelbird CFExpress V4 B Performance Card Reader has a fan in it. Those cards must run pretty hot. The older CFExpress B 2.0 cards must not need a fan, and the reader is much cheaper. The Angelbird AV Pro SE CFExpress B 2.0 has a power usage of 0.45 W at idle, and 2.40 W Max. The Angelbird AV Pro SE CFExpress v4 B has a power usage of ~ 800 mW at idle, and up to 3.75 W Max. High power usage means more heat.

What is the difference between the angel bird av pro SE and the angelbird av pro XT?
Asked by: Stephen
The Main Difference in the Angelbird AV Pro SE and the Angelbird AV Pro XT is the PCI Express Bus type. The Angelbird SE has the PCI Express Bus 4.0, and the Angelbird Av Pro XT has the PCI Express Bus 3.0. Common usage for PCI Express 3.0 is for graphics cards (GPUs), M.2 NVMe SSDs, and network expansion cards. Common Ussage for PCI Express 4.0 is standard on modern gaming PCs (AMD Ryzen/Intel Core), consoles like the PlayStation 5, and in data centers for AI and machine learning workloads.
