The Tentacle Sync E Clamp from MID49 is a mounting accessory that attaches to locating pins. The clamp is compatible with and attaches to an ARRI 1/4"-20 with locating pins using its captive thumbscrew for versatile mounting options.

We work light and fast and so wanted a low-profile and versatile way to attach the SYNC E to our cameras and out of the way ... velcro to the back and the monitor screen worked but was clumsy! Other clamps were way bigger and bulkier and over built than they needed to be for this little lightweight device. Found this and it's perfect for bolting to the small rig cage. Just wish it also had a super low-profile cold shoe mount option too ...
This thing works great, not really anything to complain about. I like that it doesn't require a quick release to remain on the camera body like the Kondor Blue does. Lets you take it off when not needed without needing tools. I will say, it is quite pricey for something so simple so definitely a luxury item, but it works great.
