The lamp offers three white-light brightness levels along with two red-light settings, steady and flashing, to preserve night-acclimated vision or for signaling. Despite its compact size and light weight, the HM23 V2 delivers up to 300 lumens on the turbo setting, and will run as long as 100 hours at low power on a single AA battery. It's easy to snap the lamp off the headband for use as a handheld light and its body clip and magnetic tail allow for hands-free use almost anywhere.
