Meticulously designed for recording lead vocals and solo instruments, the OC-S10 from Austrian Audio is a large-diaphragm, reference-quality condenser microphone engineered with precision in mind. Sporting five selectable polar patterns, three low-cut filter options, and switchable -10 and -20 dB pads, the OC-S10 is a true studio workhorse.
Onboard polar pattern options include cardioid, wide cardioid (subcardioid), hypercardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 (bidirectional). Combined with the 40, 80, and 160 Hz high-pass filter selections and a high max SPL of 147 dB without the pad engaged, this microphone can handle a wide range of recording scenarios with ease. Dual XLR outputs provide exceptional and unique postproduction flexibility, enabling scenarios such as running your output through two different preamps at once. The OC-S10 includes a shockmount and a magnetic metal mesh pop filter.

The included shockmount features a ball-joint connection for precise and delicate positioning, making setup effortless. Additionally, the magnetically attached metal mesh filter effectively reduces unwanted plosive sounds while preserving the full richness and detail of the vocal spectrum.
