Verbatim 32205 Reviews
Powerful but too heavy for wall outlets
I bought this because it was the most powerful USB-C charger I could find with this compact, travel-friendly design. This will be great on location for charging two 100w fast-charging batteries at a time, plus a phone or two. However, there's a major design flaw: it falls out of vertically-mounted outlets. Other chargers with this much power have a cable with a grounded plug, but this design just has a folding ungrounded plug directly on the body. While this design works well for my other chargers (45-100W), this 240W charger is a lot heavier. When plugged into a wall outlet, the weight pulls it out of the socket. Even on outlets that feel tight enough to hold the charger, I will come back minutes or hours later to find gravity has levered it out and onto the floor. I need to either prop it up (my laptop bag works fine for this) or use a power strip laid flat on the floor. Rather than return for a cabled model, I'm going to keep this. As long as you know its major limitation, it's great for fast power on set, while traveling, or at home.
