The Chameleon routing switcher manages up to 35MHz of throughput and is expandable up to 64x64. It supports NTSC or PAL video and mono or mono unbalanced audio. Once you own the Chameleon chassis, simply pick and choose from the wide selection of audio and video cards to change the input-output capacity of your switcher. This card is designed specifically to manage video. It features 64 inputs and 24 outputs. Take advantage of this dynamic system and a wide selection of card configurations to keep pace with changing requirements and ensure that your setup always meets your exact needs.
This card can easily be installed into the rackframe of your Chameleon 64i. Simply insert it in the open slot in the backplane of your chassis to unlock its input-output capacity. Audio can follow video or can be routed separately.
Default configuration and control of this card and all matrices is primarily managed via the Chameleon's front panel or RS232. An optional Windows-based control package from Knox Video also offers control with the additional of a volume-and-tone-control graphic user interface.
