The versatile camera features Wi-Fi and SRT live streaming, built-in ND filters, LEMO and Fischer standard control/power connections, and high-speed networking for cloud storage and M.2 SSD media. It comes with a locking EF mount, and all other accessories are optional.

The B mount is recommended as a recognized standard. For other mounts it’s best to see if the battery vendor has a mount specifically for the URSA Cine.

Is this camera capable of capturing a timelapse? Is it capable of capturing an extended timelapse say 3-4 months every 1 hour?
The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 12K LF Camera (Body Only, Canon EF) is able to capture time lapse; however the max interval between captures is 10 minutes. The only limit for time lapse length would be media capacity.

Is it necessary to attach the antennas? Can we operate the camera with it detached to maintain a smaller footprint?
The antennas of the Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 12K LF Camera (Body Only, Canon EF) do not need to be attached if you will not be using the camera's Wi-Fi functions.

The specs for The Body Only, Canon EF model states it has a slot for an M.2 SSD. Is that true or does it have the CF module?
The Blackmagic Design URSA Cine 12K LF Camera (Body Only, Canon EF) does not work with M.2. Media. The URSA body only comes with a CFexpress B media module included that has dual CFexpress B card slots.
