Its 40x magnification provides a clear look at a target hundreds of yards away, while the richly detailed, first focal plane SKMR4+ reticle shows precise holds and the wide elevation and windage ranges enable dialing long trajectories. Impact point corrects at 1/10 MRAD per click. The Twist Guard dial on the left-mounted windage turret prevents accidental adjustment without having to fumble with a lock. The parallax dial is found on the elevation turret and corrects from 20 yards to infinity.
A large 36mm maintube provides the space for the 29 MRAD elevation and 12 MRAD windage adjustment ranges. The housing is nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to make it waterproof and resistant to internal fogging in sharp temperature changes.
