Superwide 250° Field of View
Capture sweeping 250° views using the HAL 250 6mm Superwide Fisheye Lens from Entaniya and your Sony E-mount camera. This lens covers up to full-frame sensors and includes f/4, f/5.6, f/8, and f/11 fixed-aperture disks and rear-mount ND 0.6 and ND 1.2 gel filters for adjusting exposure, a lens support, and tools.
Angle of View
The HAL 250 lens boasts a superwide 250° when using the entirety of your full-frame sensor. Select a 16:9 aspect ratio to make the image appear wider by cropping the top and bottom. This reduces the vertical angle of view to 180°, flattening the top and bottom edges.
Interchangeable Aperture Disks
Instead of an iris ring that controls the aperture blades, this lens uses a set of f/4, f/5.6, f/8, and f/11 aperture disks that must be manually swapped with the included tools. You can also adjust the exposure using the included rear-mount ND 0.6 and ND 1.2 gel filters. See the chart on the Entaniya site for detailed sensor coverage information.
ND Filters for Exposure Control
The process of changing the aperture is more complicated than turning an iris ring, requiring you to remove the lens from the camera, open the rear of the lens with an included hand tool, and swap one aperture disk for another. The included set of ND 0.6 and ND 1.2 filters enables you to adjust your exposure without needing to swap out the aperture ring.
Extra-Low Dispersion Elements
- Four of the 18 elements of the lens are made with extra-low dispersion glass.
- This preserves the image's finer details while reducing chromatic aberration and color fringing.
