Transfer mocopi motion data to your PC application and enable real-time motion capture using up to 12 mocopi sensors with this Sensor Data Receiver from Sony. Designed to work with the mocopi full-body, 3D motion-capture system, the unit supports Bluetooth LE 5.4 transmission up to 33' and facilitates additional capturing points beyond the head, hip, wrists, and ankles, which are inherently available in your Sony mocopi system. A dedicated, separately available app is required to use this product, but a wide array of compatible apps is free to download, while some, such as the mocopi PC app and the XYN Motion Studio app, can be obtained for nominal fees. The package included a USB cable for direct connectivity to your computer.
How Apps Work with the Sensor Bands
mocopi app: Connect mocopi to a smartphone via Bluetooth, making it possible to operate an avatar, create an avatar video, and acquire motion capture data on the smartphone.
mocopi PC app: Connect mocopi to a PC using your smartphone and the mocopi link app via a wired or Bluetooth connection, making it possible to operate an avatar, create an avatar video, and acquire motion capture data on the PC.
mocopi Data Analyzer app: Tracks and analyzes the raw data of the mocopi sensors. You can use the data for various purposes other than motion capture.
mocopi Link app: For use with the mocopi PC app. Since Windows computers cannot connect six sensors simultaneously, a smartphone and the mocopi Link app are separately required when using the mocopi PC app. The mocopi Link is a simple application that sends sensor data to the PC, expanding the number of smartphones that can be used.
mocopi VR app: Enables mocopi sensors to be used as virtual trackers. With mocopi VR, you can combine mocopi sensors with SteamVR-compatible VR HMDs to experience full-body tracking in many VR applications like VRChat.
mocopi Pro app: Unlocks a more sophisticated motion capture experience for users looking to leverage the mocopi Pro hardware setup. Consisting of two parts, the mocopi Pro app allows users to capture motion data on their PC, pairing it with a motion editor suite that enables easy and quick motion creation.
