HTC VIVE Focus Vision VR Headset (Consumer Edition)
Fully dive into immersive virtual worlds or overlay your surroundings for a mixed reality adventure when using the VIVE Focus Vision VR Headset from HTC. This Consumer Edition headset is geared towards gaming and entertainment, using a headset with stunning 5K resolution (2448 x 2448 per eye), a lifelike 120° FOV, and smooth 90 Hz refresh rate (up to 120 Hz in the beta DisplayPort mode). The VIVE Focus Vision can be used wirelessly or with your PC for more demanding titles. Controlling VR or MR objects can be done using the included 6 DoF controllers or your hands with 26-point hand-tracking precision. An adjustable fit and cooling system allow you to use the VIVE Focus Vision comfortably, and a hot-swappable battery can extend the fun without waiting for a recharge.
Mixed Reality
A new dimension of interactivity is possible with mixed reality. Your real world combines with VR elements. In VIVE Desk, you can improve productivity with movable, scalable "monitors" that float in front of you. Focus Vision uses a depth sensor to allow you to virtually interact with physical objects and surfaces around you. This overlay is displayed using two high-res cameras that enable stereo color passthrough, achieving a vivid and depth-correct views of the space.
Eye and Hand Tracking
To dial-up the immersion within VR or MR environments, HTC incorporates both eye and hand tracking technologies. Infrared illuminators, cameras, and computer vision track your eye movements, where gaze input correlates into accurate eye control for your virtual avatar. The eye control is also key to optimizing performance through foveated rendering, which renders peripheral data in lower resolutions, for both a realistic experience and extended battery life.
To track your hands, the VIVE Focus Vision uses an infrared floodlight and four cameras. Even in dim spaces, it can see your hands and give you precise 26-point control over your VR space.
PC VR
Use demanding VR programs by having a PC do the heavy lifting. PC VR titles can play wirelessly with a compatible Wi-Fi 5-6E router or wired using an optional USB-C cable. Note that a USB-C cable has a compressed signal with slightly diminished visuals, but the optional VIVE Wired Streaming Kit maintains the headset's crisp 5K resolution in DisplayPort Mode, with its converter and DisplayPort cable. Spatial Audio
Built-in open-back, dual-driver speakers provide 3D audio to complete the virtual or mixed-reality experience. To avoid disturbing others, you can activate the Privacy Mode to minimize sound leakage. For even more privacy, and to save on battery life, you can plug in an optional pair of 3.5mm wired headphones.
Cool and Comfortable
Whether you wear glasses or not, you can use the VIVE Focus Vision. Fitting it is easy by using the rear dial to tighten and loosen it as needed. A top strap provides additional stability while front and rear magnetic pads add comfort. During extended use, the balanced weight between the front and rear helps to reduce fatigue, and a built-in cooling fan works to keep the temperature down. In fact, the air intake of the VIVE Focus Vision is 30% greater than HTC's VIVE Focus 3.
Auto IPD
One of the most important aspects of using a VR headset is setting the proper IPD (Interpupillary Distance), which is the distance between the center of your eyes. The VIVE Focus Vision eliminates this manual task by using its built-in eye tracking technology to automatically set the IPD for you. The VIVE Focus Vision is capable of IPDs from 57 to 72 mm.
Play Longer
The rear battery is hot-swappable, allowing you to extend your use of the VIVE Focus Vision almost indefinitely. Once you remove the battery, a battery at the front of the headset kicks in to keep the headset running for up to 20 minutes while you insert a new battery. Please note that this front battery is only designed to retain power for the purpose of swapping the rear battery, and only one rear battery is included.

HTC VIVE Wired Streaming Kit
Get the most out of your Focus Vision PC VR experience when using it with this VIVE Wired Streaming Kit from HTC. Included is a converter box with various cables and adapters that will connect your Focus Vision to your compatible PC. Your PC will require an available DisplayPort and USB-A 3.0 port. When using just a compatible USB-C cable to connect the Focus Vision to your PC, you will get a compressed signal with reduced visual quality, but with the Streaming Kit, you get the full potential of the Focus Vision's 5K resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. Please note that you will also need an AC outlet for the converter box's included 30W power adapter.
