The white RE90W from Electro-Voice is a low-profile cardioid boundary microphone with a sensitivity and frequency response suitable for distance learning centers, teleconferencing systems, board rooms, court rooms etc. The full range condenser microphone features a frequency response of 80 Hz to 15 kHz, placing emphasis on frequencies that accentuate the human voice while minimizing low frequency noise and rumble.
The half-cardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes off-axis audio signal and eliminates audio signal at the rear of the microphone. In addition, the half-cardioid polar pattern provides high gain before feedback and minimizes ambient noise. With an SPL rating of 125 dB, the RE90W is more than capable of reproducing excessively loud signals without distortion. The microphone is powered via 9-52 V phantom power source and features unterminated +/-/Ground screw terminal connections.
