The 14.4V eSMART Li-98Wh Rechargeable Battery from AUDIOROOT is for use with AUDIOROOT's power distributors and battery eliminators. This 98Wh battery is fully SMBus compatible, which allows compliant AUDIOROOT equipment to display information such as charge level while connected to the battery. Good batteries

I have six batteries of this style I travel with and operate in my sound bag for film + TV work. I use two at a time so I have longer run times without needing to stop down. And I can hot swap the whole set up, switching out one battery at a time. I know this is about the batteries here, but I will just shout out the PSC Triple Play DC power distribution box allows me to accomplish this task and it is simple but very effective..... My point on describing my set up is, I use these batteries a lot and I have versions of this battery from a couple manufacturers. It is my understanding all the batteries of this design are manufacturer Ed from the same place. It is something like Newer Energy or some such company name... I can’t recall right now. The point is, I always assumed the batteries would provide identical service. When I added a pair of the AudioRoot version of the 98Wh batteries, they seem like they offer slightly more available current than the other brands I have been using. Maybe it is simply because they are newer, used a lot less, but I do not recall the same bump in available current when I added sets of batteries to my rig in the past. So apart from my possibly flawed recollection of available battery current, the batteries in question are just really solid performers. This style of battery lasts me for literally years at a time, discharged and recharged constantly. In hot, cold, humid, dry environments. Compared to the older style NPxx batteries I used to operate with, these AudioRoot 98Wh batteries are slightly smaller (yes, by just a little bit), weigh in slightly less and ended up costing a couple dollars less. If you have a ‘smart’ DC power distribution box, they offer up some extra telemetry as well. They are all around a great tool for operating via battery power and quite frankly they are a key part of my operation.

These are top tier batteries. I have a half dozen and the units with nearly 200 cycles have minimal loss in capacity compared to far newer units.
