Ultrabright Display
This daylight-viewable, 6" on-camera IPS LCD monitor features a 1920 x 1080 resolution, multiple image tools such as histogram and waveform, and a 2000 cd/m² brightness that makes it suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
Input/Output
The monitor features an HDMI input and an HDMI loop output supporting video resolutions up to DCI/UHD 4K30. You can monitor the audio via its 3.5mm headphone port or output to separately available speakers.
Image Monitoring Tools
Integrated imaging tools provide peak focus accuracy by capturing key points with precision for sharp, high-quality images. It also includes advanced tools like waveform and 3D LUT for precise control and real-time color grading.
Power Options
At the rear of the monitor, a built-in L-series battery plate enables you to power the monitor with the L-series battery, or you can power it with a separately available DC barrel or USB-C adapter.
3D LUTs
The integrated SD card slot or the USB port can be used to upgrade the firmware or add custom 3D LUT files to apply to your view.
Durable Metal Cage
This model also includes a durable outer cage featuring multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads and strap slots. It mounts onto the camera using two captive screws.

The screen is a superb unit, but as many others have reported the included cold shoe mount is stuck and can't be adjusted without a vise and a hammer.

I see that older Viltrox models have issues with it, especially with 1080p.

I have bought it... Well, on Z8 it doesn't work properly on 1080p feed. It has issues with some resolutions, but if camera is set to feed 2160p - everything works correctly but the handshake time prolongs from about 2 seconds to about 4 seconds.

The Viltrox DC-X2 6" Touchscreen HD Monitor (B&H# VIDCX2) has two DC power ports. One is based upon the USB-C standard and requires 5VDC at 3A. The other one accepts a 5.5mm outer diameter plug, has a 2.1mm diameter male pin, and requires 12VDC. It could be powered by the Watson Pro 12V 2A Power Supply (2.1mm) (B&H# WAPS12V2A21).
