The D4 features a dynamic element capable of reproducing signals with high transients peaks without producing the noise associated with distortion and overloading the capsule.
Its 40 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response allows you to capture large instruments low fundamentals—instruments such as kick drums, djembes, kettle drums, floor toms, and more. Its hypercardioid polar pattern provides a tight pickup area at the front of the capsule, making sure that ambiance and noise present at the off-axis sections of the microphone are greatly reduced.
