Capture Double Exposures
Combine two exposures in one photo by double tapping the MODE button and selecting Double Exposure mode. After tapping, an LED icon will light up and the film counter will blink "1" to indicate it's ready for you to capture the first exposure. After you take the first picture, it will blink "2" to signal it's ready for you to take the second exposure.
Scene Analysis
To ensure your images are properly exposed and in-focus, the Flip camera is equipped with a feature called scene analysis, which observes what's in your frame after the shutter button is half pressed and alerts you of any correctable issues via its LED display.
Self-Timer
Activate self-timer mode to ensure nobody's left out of the photo. Just tap the MODE button once, frame your shot, and press the shutter button. You'll have 12 seconds to pose before the photo is taken. To cancel the shot, press the shutter button once more.

I bought this when it was on sale and I liked it so much it ultimately led to me getting an I-2. My only complaint with the flip is the less accurate auto focus and less sharp lens compared to the I-2. It’s not bad, it’s just not as good. The autofocus and lens on the I-2 is much better, but its auto exposure and flash are way behind on the Flip. I think the flip has better color rendering too. I don’t think you can go wrong with this if you catch it while on sale.
Not for everyone, probably not even most.

Disappointed with the performance of this camera, and it's MUCH more intolerant to lighting conditions than old school Polaroid from decades ago. I couldn't get any consistent result, even in excellent sunny conditions my photos are a mess and blue tinted like crazy. Just utterly unpredictable and not in a charming way. I went back to Instax square and wide. I'm sure this kind of "let's see how it comes out" works for some, it doesn't work for me.
