if i connect 4 mics, can it allow 2 mics to be 'on' at the same time? (i.e. 2 different talkers), or the 'MaxBus' will strictly limit it to 1 mic at a time only?
Asked by: APJ
The Shure SCM410 allows you to connect and use up to four microphones at the same time.

Will it cancel noise from ceiling speakers if I have the mx393 omnidirectional microphone?
Asked by: Peter
Thank you for your question. This mixer does not have any noise canceling capabilities. You would need to find the best position for the microphone in the room for the least amount of possible feedback and ambient noise

Will the mixer automatically set the microphone ...

Will the mixer automatically set the microphone sensitivity? And does it have a limiter?
Asked by: Mateusz
You will have to initially set the mic levels. Then it will open the mic when someone speaks. Yes it has a limiter. A Multi-pin Logic connection provides Mute, Gate and Override remote control options.

Is it possible to disable the 12v phantom power?

Is it possible to disable the 12v phantom power?
Asked by: David
Yes. There are 4 numbered DIP switches on the back of the unit. To disengage the phantom power, simply flip the right-most switch numbered "4" into the down position, and the phantom power will turn off.

question

My mics need 48v phantom power. I dont see that in the specs? Can it supply or not?
Asked by: Scott
I use this mixer with an Audio Technica condensor mic. The mic's specs say it requires 48 volt phantom power, but it works fine on the 12 volts from this mixer. I even got an external 48 volt phantom power supply, thinking the mic would sound even better with the full 48V, but it sounds the same with 12 or 48 volts.
