I bought this after contacting Satechi's support and it is exactly what I needed: An interface to connect headphones and a portable USB Midi Controller keyboard to my iPhone and iPad so I can practice with just the phone and the keyboard. It works perfectly and even lets you play and charge your phone at the same time. Excellent.
