Lenovo 16 G8 16" Overview

Enhance your workflow with the 16" ThinkBook 16 G8 IAL Multi-Touch Laptop from Lenovo. Featuring a lightweight design and an Intel Core Ultra 7 255H 16-Core processor, this laptop can help take on challenging projects and AI workloads from almost anywhere.

With 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, this laptop can smoothly load and multitask a variety of applications. Powered by integrated Intel Arc Graphics, the 16" 1920 x 1200 resolution touchscreen delivers rich visuals and can lay flush with the rest of the system to make content sharing easier. Use the Thunderbolt 4 port to transfer up to 40 Gb/s with compatible devices and connect compatible displays. A 10 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port is also available alongside two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports. A built-in SD card reader allows you to quickly transfer photos, videos, and other files. Wi-Fi 6E support and a Gigabit Ethernet port provide fast internet connectivity with compatible network devices to share files and video chat using the Full HD webcam, dual mic array, and 2W Dolby Audio speaker system. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

Intel Core Ultra Performance
The Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor powers applications with six Performance cores while the eight Efficient cores handle background tasks. The P-cores have a base speed of 2 GHz and a 5.1 GHz Max Turbo frequency. A dedicated NPU can process 13 trillion operations per second (TOPS) to accelerate AI tasks.
Thunderbolt 4
Support a variety of high-powered peripherals with Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. Supporting up to 40 Gb/s data transfer speeds, DisplayPort Alt-Mode, and Power Delivery technology, you can connect a variety of devices from large storage arrays to high-definition displays, and more. You also get daisy-chaining capabilities allowing you to link together up to 6 devices for a streamlined setup.
Enhanced Security
The ThinkBook offers a variety of security features designed to keep your private information safe. A built-in fingerprint reader found on the power button uses biometrics to safeguard your system, making it more secure when you log in. Firmware-based TPM 2.0 technology prevents startup when unauthorized hardware changes have been made. The webcam features a physical privacy shutter to prevent unauthorized access. The Kensington Nano security slot helps keep your ThinkBook 16 safe and secure when you're away from your desk.

Enhance your multitasking by connecting up to three displays through the Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and HDMI 2.1 ports.
Windows 11 Pro
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.
