Had an ecobee lite that went bad. Purchased a new one and discovered it doesn’t fit in the old trim kit. Purchased this new trim kit and have no way to attach it to the wall over the existing junction box. The screw holes are too narrow.
Our heating and cooling company didn’t tell us we would need the plate and it doesn’t look pretty at all. The plate needed is large, an awful mat color and is an eyesore.
