This M1-201DA-TR 2-Fiber Detachable Optical DVI Module from Opticis consists of a transmitter and receiver that transmit uncompressed WUXGA video (1920 x 1200) at 60 Hz up to 4920' using duplex single-mode fiber with LC terminated connectors, or 1640' using duplex multi-mode fiber with LC terminated connectors. Supporting VESA video standards up to 2K, this system converts your DVI signal and transmits it over fiber to the receiver, which converts it back to a DVI signal. The Self-EDID management makes it easy to integrate the extender module, as you just have to plug the module into your monitor and let the system set itself. Using an optional optical passive splitter, you can copy a single signal to up to 16 different displays.
