Epson L690SU Reviews

Absolutely Amazing Product!

I recently upgraded to the Epson PowerLite L690SU 6200-Lumen WUXGA Short-Throw Laser Projector, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance — this thing really delivers! From the moment I set it up, it was clear this is a projector built to impress in any serious workspace or creative environment. First off, the image quality is outstanding. With 6,200 lumens of both color and white brightness and the WUXGA (1920×1200) resolution, everything looks sharp, vibrant, and incredibly detailed, even in rooms with a fair amount of ambient light. The 3LCD technology really makes colors pop — presentations, videos, and graphics all look rich and immersive. Epson One of my favorite things about this unit is the short-throw capability. The 0.8–1.36 throw ratio lets me project a huge, shadow-free image (up to about 400″ diagonal) from a relatively short distance, which is amazing for smaller rooms or areas where space is tight. It’s perfect for hybrid meeting spaces, creative pitches, or even simulator backdrops. Epson Installation and setup were smoother than I expected. Lens shift, the 1.7× optical zoom, and the geometric correction tools gave me plenty of flexibility to dial in the image exactly where I wanted it — no weird angles or complicated mounts required. And with 360° mounting support, you’ve got options whether you’re ceiling-mounting, rear projecting, or putting it on a shelf. Epson The laser light source is another huge plus. With up to 30,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free life, it eliminates the hassle and recurring cost of lamps, which means more uptime and far less worry about servicing. That’s a big win for busy environments where downtime isn’t an option. Epson Connectivity and modern workflows are well supported too — built-in wireless communication, screen casting tools, and NFC pairing make it easy to connect laptops or mobile devices without fumbling around with cables. Staples.com In short, if you need a bright, versatile, and high-quality projector that handles large, engaging visuals with ease — whether for corporate presentations, educational spaces, exhibits, or creative installations — this Epson PowerLite L690SU absolutely delivers. It’s become a core part of my setup, and I’ve recommended it to colleagues who also want powerful performance with minimal fuss. Highly recommended!
