The A40 from Nearity is an elegant conference microphone array featuring sophisticated AI deep learning algorithms designed to reduce noise and deliver clear, intelligible speech for meeting spaces, classrooms, and educational environments. The unit is equipped with an 24-element microphone array that picks up audio at a distance up to 26' away. Sophisticated beamforming technology provides 8 sidelobes that can be customized, according to different room layouts and seating arrangements to block noises out and effectively capture sound in fixed directions. The A40 features two RJ45 ports, allowing it to easily interface with networked PoE conference systems. Use the free Nearsync software download for Windows and Mac computers to set up and adjust the unit.

With onboard high-performance digital signal processor, the Nearity A40 applies deep-learning AI capabilities, including advanced audio technologies such as audio mixing routing, echo cancellation, noise reduction, and automatic gain control, ensuring clear speech in a wide area. • The AMX100 DSP's interfaces support connecting with different devices, such as loudspeakers, PCs, wireless microphones, ACT10 controllers, and others. It can also work with traditional MCU conference rooms and is versatile enough to be used in various conference settings.

Flexible Signal Routing and Connectivity

• It features a 3.5mm analog audio input / output and a TRS port for connecting to the A/V conferencing system in the room. It has a USB-B port for connecting to a laptop or room PC, a USB-C port for an additional microphone, and phoenix ports that allow for connection to up to 8 loudspeakers.
