The CR-21 supports not just the DS-9000/9500 models but also the DS-7000 and DS-3500. With the DS-9000 and DS-9500, you can utilize a LAN connection in the CR-21 for data transfer in areas that lack Wi-Fi and hands-free dictation and playback control via the optional external footswitch. You can also purchase an optional AC adapter to charge your devices without a USB connection. A Kensington lock can be connected for extra security when your recorder is not in use.
