Claypaky Tambora Stormy Overview
Three Dynamic Lighting Options
Delivering powerful and diverse strobe effects, the Tambora Stormy is constructed with 675 2W RGBW SMD LEDs and separated into 27 segments with 3 x 9 area pixel mapping. Create compelling lighting with the fixture's three dynamic effects, including color, strobe, and dimming options. Create vibrant outputs with a linear 2700-8000K color temperature range with the fixture's Color Mode. With advanced layer management, easily adjust color, internal shapes, and 3 x 9 pixel mapping. Create 1/1 to 1/30 strobing effects or select a pre-programmed shape to produce adjustable static and dynamic patterns, including color, speed, direction, fade, and strobe. With 16-bit, five-curve dimming, the Tambora Stormy offers precise lighting options for live productions.
Three DMX Control Modes
The Tambora Stormy's 5-pin DMX input and output methods are simple to use. In Basic mode, control the fixture's general parameters with 8-bit RGBW color control in two layers. With Standard mode, control color in three layers and manage graphic effects. Advanced mode allows for easy control of three independent layers that can operate by enabling the Pixels Engine so users can adjust RGB and RGBW colors simultaneously. The main engine's 10, 26, and 32 control channels help to create unique lighting for live music and outdoor performances. The Tambora Stormy's DMX, Art-Net, sACN, webserver, and remote access through RDM offers lighting designers a variety of wireless control options. Within the Pixels Engine, utilize two modes with 81 and 108 control channels for additional versatility.
Heat Control and Dissipation Functionality
Housed in magnesium and IP66 rated for weather resistance, the fixture operates within an ambient -4 to 113° F temperature range with a maximum temperature of the external surface at 194°. The light features 2460 BTU/hour total heat dissipation with a +/- 10% buffer. The thermally protected power supply prevents overheating and cooling failure with fans and a heatsink to withstand long hours of use. The fixture features forced ventilation with axial fans for constant cooling. The light's noise level is controlled linearly by the speed of the fans with Fixed, Auto, Silent, Theater, and Constant presets.
