I don’t know when this came out, but I m mad that I didn’t pick it up sooner. Easy to swap and works like a champ
The replacement wheel set is very easy to install, comes with clear instructions and is still capable of meeting carry-on size restrictions due to the ability to remove the wheels and spindles that hold the wheels in place; all one has to do is put the wheels either inside the case if you have room or put them in your personal bag when placing ninth overhead bin. The larger wheels allow for easier rolling on multiple surfaces, including cobbled streets, with much less effort. When opening the case make sure you deploy the two leveling levers on either side of the rails in order to maintain the case level. There is also a fold away leveling lever at the bottom of the case that allows you to keep the case level when letting go of the handle when upright so that it doesn't tip over due to the larger sized wheels. Overall, a well thought out addition for those who will be taking this case over surfaces that are not just even, smooth floors of a building or sidewalk.
