The lightweight, impact-resistant NK-7 resin construction is dust and waterproof. The triple-action PowerClaw latching system ensures the case remains securely closed until you open it. Oversized folding handles offer easy team or solo carrying and the durable, heavy-duty, polyurethane wheels and two-stage retractable handle allow you to roll heavy loads over rough terrain. Remove the backplate and wheels to prepare the case for air travel. The interior has an N-Cubik 13L insert and a lid organizer with four zippered pouches for additional storage.

PowerClaw Latching System
With its rugged exterior, the 935 HDW is made to withstand impacts and drops, which is why Nanuk designed the PowerClaw latching system to ensure it doesn't open on impact. The dual latches are made from nylon and stainless steel hardware, using triple action and compressive force to clamp the case shut.
Automatic Pressure Release Valve
When altitudes change rapidly during air travel, cases can experience a vacuum lock and be extremely difficult to open. The automatic pressure release valve employs micro vents that let air pass through, but not water, to equalize the internal air pressure so the case opens easily.

A Great Way to Protect and Organize Your Gear

I purchased this case to organize and transport my recording and media production equipment, and it has been an excellent investment. The padded dividers make it easy to customize the interior for different projects, keeping everything secure and well organized. I also really like the mesh organizer in the lid for storing smaller accessories like cables, batteries, memory cards, and adapters so they're easy to find when setting up. The case feels extremely durable, and the wheels make it much easier to move a fully loaded case than carrying everything by hand. Whether I'm heading to a concert recording, event, or other field project, I know my equipment is well protected during transport. If you're looking for a rugged case that keeps your gear organized and easy to transport, I highly recommend this one. It's become an essential part of my production kit.

The attention to detail is excellent. Everything about the engineering of this case is first rate. The design and function of the latches is excellent. The design and function of the handles is great. A little heavy, but it is a wheeled case so that doesn't matter that much. Solid in design and function.

Will a 17" laptop fit behind the lid organizer?

While it depends on the size of the 17" laptop (gaming laptops for instance are significantly thicker and wider), it is neither recommended nor safe to store a laptop behind the lid organizer. More than likely, it will prevent the lid and/or lid organizer from sitting flush and closing as the manufacturer intended.

Is this case able to hold a sony fx6 camera body? I heard it isn't very deep and am not sure if my camera would fit .

The Nanuk 935 Wheeled Hard Utility Case with Padded Divider Insert & Lid Organizer (Silver) is 7.5 inches deep. It will fit the FX6 on the side. If you place it standing up you will need to remove the top handle.
