Works great with the A7CII and DJI Mic mini. If you're worried about the slight wobble, use the included pads to shim the receiver. That's what they're for.

Dear customer, thank you for your inquiry. The DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter is an adapter designed based on the Sony Multi-Interface (MI) port; therefore, only cameras that support digital audio input via the MI hot shoe port can use this adapter. It only supports Sony brand cameras, not other brands.

It came with two sticky pads, but the instructions don't say what they are for. Any ideas?

The two sticky pads can be used to stabilize the DJI Mic receiver so it does not wobble when attached to the DJI Mic MI Shoe Camera Adapter, as the receivers are different sizes.

Will other usb-c audio sources work or only the DJI mics? I know it does not work with Mic 2.

The Mic MI Shoe Camera Adapter is compatible with the DJI Mic Mini and DJI Mic 3, but it is not recommended to connect the DJI Mic Mini, DJI Mic 3, or the hot shoe adapter via a Type-C to Type-C cable. The Mic MI Shoe Camera Adapter does not support third-party Type-C adapter devices. Please use only officially compatible DJI accessories to ensure proper functionality. I noticed this flips the receiver upside down. Does this mean you have to read the screen upside down or does screen flip too?

The DJI Mic MI Shoe Camera Adapter physically mounts the Mic Mini or Mic 3 receiver into the Sony MI hot shoe, but it does not flip the camera’s display or screen orientation.
