Decode and distribute high-resolution, low-latency video from a mobile location such as a production van or remote facility within the LiveU Central cloud platform environment with the LU4000 ST 2110 Single Output 4K/Quad HD Decoder Server. This 1 RU rackmount server provides HEVC/H.264 decoding from wired Ethernet for 4K60 video distribution via one 12G-SDI output or up to 1080p60 video distribution via four 3G-SDI outputs. It also functions as an efficient all-IP SMPTE ST-2110 workflow device for uninterrupted connectivity. The unit supports automated routing, switching, and processing of separate bonded video, audio, and data streams.

The LU4000 also supports output and retransmission of IP video via RTMP, MPEG-TS, LiveU Matrix, SRT, and NDI via Gigabit Ethernet. The decoder works within the LiveU Central cloud and can collaborate with LiveU technology, such as LU800 series field units. The L4000 ST 2110 features dual 25 Gigabit Ethernet ports for high redundancy. Included with the decoder are dual power supplies to keep the system running.

The LU4000 is an essential part of your live video workflow, acting as your in-studio source for remote live feeds coming from any LiveU field unit or from the Matrix cloud video distribution platform.
Multipurpose Decoder
The LU4000 supports a single 4K transmission (over 12G-SDI) as well as up to four Full HD independent transmissions from different units (over four 3G/HD/SD-SDI). It also supports multicamera productions, receiving and playing out up to four fully synced feeds from a single LU800 unit.
Any Output Type
The LU4000 can receive multiple preview feeds, allowing the remote operator to select the feed/s played out for local consumption. Built for maximum workflow flexibility, the LU4000 offers multiple output options, including SDI, NDI, RTMP, MPEG-TS, and SRT.
Intuitive Management
The LU4000 enables operators to monitor, control, and manage live streams via LiveU Central, the unified cloud-based management platform for LiveU's field and studio units. The receiver is also fully NMOS-compliant for device discovery and control through your preexisting operating system.
LiveU Matrix Enabled
The LU4000 is Matrix enabled, allowing you to seamlessly share your live feeds with multiple internal and cross-organizational end-points, using cost-effective and reliable IP-based distribution over the public Internet.
