This Rod Support for Mini DV with Swing-Away Component and 15mm Rods from Cavision provides height-adjustable support for Mini DV-style cameras, a set of carbon fiber rods, and a swing-away mechanism for an optional matte box. Taking the hassle out of working with a matte box and filters, this support system allows you to remove the matte box from the rods to access your lens without having to remove the matte box each time. For tasks such as cleaning your lens or swapping filters, loosen a single knob and swing your matte box away to clear the lens. A locating pin on the camera plate helps prevent your camera from twisting on the plate.
