Great for my artwork

I use this for printing large posters, and it works perfect for what I use it for. I do not print ultra high definition photo grade posters but rather retro style movie posters. The refillable ink is the main reason I bought this as the cost of ink cartridges is a major deal breaker for what I need this for. So far I have only used about 1/2 of a roll of vinyl sticker paper through it, without issue. I went to the Cannon web site and downloaded one program that helped set the entire thing up without issue. It is kind of heavy, so plan on using the help of a second person.

Great printer, easy to set up, does NOT come with paper!

This is a great printer. I followed the instructions and setup was easy and painless. It connected immediately to my MacBook Pro with absolutely no issues (haven't tried it with my Windows machine yet) and the print quality was good. I love that it can do 11x17 sheets with the built-in feeder. It is a HUGE printer (which I knew) and the delivery person left it in the lobby instead of getting a signature like they were supposed to. I couldn't get it up the stairs alone! It comes with starter ink but you'll need to order more immediately. IT DOES NOT COME WITH PAPER! It takes 24 rolls with a 2 core. I had to delay a meeting and make an emergency stop at B&H to get the paper, but once I had it it was also easy to install. The printer manual says it should be on a desk or table but it printed fine from the floor, I just had to make sure the leading edge didn't get caught on the carpet.

Hello, I only need to print monochrome. Do I still need to maintain the color cartridges? Thanks

This Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21 24" Large Format Desktop Printer does utilize some small amount of color ink in its monochrome prints, and it does require some ink to be present in each tank in order to work.

Does this printer work with Pictorico Ultra Premium OHP Transparency Film 24" x 66'?

Yes, the Canon imagePROGRAF TC-21 can print on transparent media such as Pictorico Ultra Premium OHP Transparency Film 24" x 66'. The printer should be set to heavy weight photo paper since there is not a specific transparent media setting.
