I love this beautiful lens. It looks very cinematic and handles really nicely. The image is nice and sharp and the focus gears are perfect.

Not without it's quirks, but amazing lens nonetheless.

The Blazar MANTIS 1.33x is such an incredible and affordable anamorphic lens. The image is incredible, however, not without its quirks. For starters, it's closer to 1.4x than 1.33x, which is fine, but took some time to get use to. Also, it is not very sharp at 2.0, which is also fine, but just be aware in case you're looking for a super sharp anamorphic image at more open apertures. 2.8 seems like a great start for sharpness. Outside of that, what an amazing lens. Adapting to RF was relatively simple after looking up instructions on YouTube. Gears are smooth and relatively firm, but enjoyable. The focus throw is pretty long, took me a little getting use to. I love the flares and the unique distortion quality of the lens. I think Blazar knocked it out of the park.
