Harrison Audio 32Classic Overview

The Harrison Audio 32Classic 2416 16-Channel In-Line Recording/Mixing Console with Dante delivers a hybrid modular architecture, purpose-built to support both traditional analog workflows and modern hybrid studio configurations. At its core lies the unmistakable Harrison sonic signature—refined, musical, and deeply rooted in decades of console-design legacy. This version has a built-in 32x32 full Dante digital interface.

Each of the 16 mono mic/line input channels features the renowned 32C 4-band parametric EQ, offering precise tonal shaping with a musical touch. Fully sweepable high-pass and low-pass filters provide additional control over spectral content. Premium Jensen JT-MB-CPCA input transformers are deployed throughout the signal path, imparting rich harmonic character and dynamic nuance. Vintage-style VU meters offer classic visual feedback. Whether in a legacy tracking room or a cutting-edge hybrid setup, the 32Classic is engineered to be the sonic centerpiece of any high-performance studio.

Designed for Use with DAWs
The 32Classic frame is designed to facilitate use with DAWs. The full-length front armrest is deep enough to accommodate DAW and music keyboards, and a mouse or trackball with room to spare. The top of the console is flat with ample room for multiple video monitors and nearfield monitor speakers. A clean installation is ensured by having all power, network and audio wiring hidden in the console legs.
Fully Modular Console
The 32Classic provides a flexible busing and routing architecture. Each channel can route to any of 8 Bus master channels that can be used in mono or stereo configuration, any of 5 Auxiliary buses (4 mono and 1 stereo), or directly to the Main Mix stereo bus with transformers.

The 32Classic also incorporates an In-Line record status mode, which allows the input source signal to feed directly to a DAW with a separate Playback path for monitoring and for feeding headphones and/or studio monitors via a flexible alternate output matrix.

32x32 Dante Interface
The 32Classic 2416 with Dante offers fully integrated DAW support featuring onboard professional-grade A/D and D/A converters along with 32x32 I/O Audinate Dante network interfacing. Dante networking replaces the traditional tape recorder interfacing of classic analog consoles with a single Ethernet cable to a computer running your favorite DAW software.

Connection flexibility is provided by also permitting analog interfacing to external recorders or other equipment, and even a mixed analog/Dante installation is easily accommodated.
