The Emerald DESKVUE PE IP Multi-Source Receiver from Black Box allows users to not only interact with up to 32 physical and/or virtual systems, but also customize their workspace . Using Black Box's KVM manager, Boxilla, in conjunction with this receiver, up to 16 different systems can be interacted with, or conversely without the KVM manager, up to 32 systems can be interacted with.
Physical connections are made through Emerald transmitter, while virtual machines can be connected to using RDP, PCoIP, PCoIP ultra, and H.264/5. This receiver allows for keyboard, mice, and audio connections via USB-A. Additionally, up to four monitors may be connected via Mini-DisplayPort to view your connected systems. Resolutions up to 5120 x 2880 are supported, however, only two monitors can display 5K resolutions at once. Remote access to KVM systems is also provided and it allows operation across IP networks through software applications. Moreover, through IP networking and low bandwidth, this receiver is made highly scalable.
