LG 39GX90SA-W Reviews

Love it! Wish it came in 45.

Bought this monitor after I had the 800R monitor and this one BLOWS the 800R one out of the water. The colors are so brought a deep. I work on this monitor and also play games and the 800R is just too curved. I also have 2 other gaming monitors on the left and right of this beautiful gem. The only issue I was having was on video you have to turn the AI off as it tried to turn the screen warm or cool and its very distracting. Other than that.... its beautiful, fast refresh, deep blacks, and everything is so easy to read. Someone complains about the text being legable. but if you sit so close to the monitor that you can see the pixels..... you're too close. I never leave reviews, but I felt i needed to on this one.

This is a disaster.

So yesterday I realized that my LG ultra wide monitor has been potentially spying on me for about a year. I already verified that the windows drivers installed unwanted and unnecessary applications in my machine without my explicit consent and I am still assessing this disaster. I am using this "gaming" monitor for work and this situation will remain unacceptable until LG apologize, offer a full refund option and provide a way to uninstall any software beside the drivers necessary to use the monitor and provide an easy way to control what the monitor can do/not do beside displaying pixels for the people who would rather keep using it. If in addition the brain dead people who thought it was a brilliant idea to insert spyware into a device driver could be named, shamed and fired right away then the world would immediately become a better place.
