Arturia MicroLab mk3 Reviews

Arturia’s Budget Blunder

Don’t be fooled. This awkward little contraption may lure you with its bargain-bin price, but what you get is barely more than a glorified keyboard input device — with shrunk-down keys, clumsily designed controls, and a USB-C port so poorly placed, it makes even basic cable management a chore. Sure, you can swap the cable out — but then, why include one at all? As for the key mechanics — calling them rudimentary would be generous. A toy harmonica has more responsive action. There’s zero feel, zero feedback, and zero excuse for this level of design laziness. The bundled software? Half-baked and forgettable. And honestly, I can’t even guess who Arturia imagined would want this. Beginners? Pros? Keyboard collectors with masochistic tendencies? Bottom line: looks cheap, feels cheaper, plays like nothing at all. Hard pass.

Not a midi controller

Thought it was a smaller version of the minilab 3. Arturia web page shows a guy with a white object with 5 pin and other connections. That’s not the keyboard. What you get is a type c computer connection and a pedal input. Works great with an iPad.
