ASUS RP-BE58 Overview

Eliminate wireless dead spots in your home by plugging the ASUS RP-BE58 BE3600 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 7 Range Extender into an available power outlet where you need coverage. This Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) range and mesh network extender is designed to work with almost any make and model router, expanding its range by up to 2200 square feet while supporting a max transfer speed of 3570 Mb/s with compatible devices over the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The RP-BE58 also seamlessly integrates into your ASUS AiMesh compatible network, which allows you to use a single network ID (SSID) for seamless connectivity as you move across your home.

Installation is as simple as plugging the RP-BE58 into an outlet and pairing it with your router by pressing the WPS button on both devices. The wireless signal is protected with WPA3 encryption. You can also configure a fast and secure backhaul by connecting the RP-BE58's Gigabit Ethernet port directly to your router.

Wi-Fi 7 Performance
By taking advantage of the 160 MHz channels using two powerful internal antennas, the RP-BE58 can deliver up to 2882 Mb/s throughput over the 5 GHz band and 688 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz frequency. OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and MLO technologies and a 4K-QAM provide reliable and efficient connections with compatible devices.
Multi-Link Operation
Multi-link Operation (MLO) combines multiple bands at the same time to ensure stable internet connections and efficient data transfers.
AiMesh
Create a wireless mesh Wi-Fi network that covers your entire home by using the RP-BE58 alongside a variety of ASUS AiMesh compatible routers.
Quick Setup
Quickly set up, configure, and manage your network's settings through the ASUS Router app for iOS and Android.
Flexible Backhaul
The RP-BE58 may be configured as an access point by connecting it directly to your router through an Ethernet cable. This high-speed wired connection allows you to maximize your wireless bandwidth.

I bought this RP-BE58 to eliminate the dead zone in the kitchen If you have an Asus router to set up AiMesh, this is an easy way to expand your network. Affordable, easy to set up, and excellent Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Also works with other routers.

RP-BE58 Asus Extender for the GT-AXE 16000

I needed an Extender to get Wifi to some outdoor products and to reach one end of the home. It is hooked up by a Cat 6 wire running from the router to the extender. It took a few minutes to boot up and to update the software through the app. After that it was connected and repeating my router name. Our outdoor product signed in and is working. I have 2 older products that might have been kicked off of the router (not staying connected) but since the extender is running I haven't had that problem. Maybe the extender fixed that! So far so good.
