HP 8 G1i Tower Overview

The EliteDesk 8 Tower G1i Computer Tower from HP delivers the performance needed to tackle complex projects. Featuring a 1.80 GHz Intel Core Ultra 7 265 20-core processor that can be boosted to 5.30 GHz, integrated Intel graphics, Intel AI boost, and 32GB of 5600 MT/s DDR5 memory, your productivity can only go up due to the sheer performance of this PC.

The EliteDesk 8 Tower G1i Computer Tower comes equipped with a 1TB M.2 PCIe NVME SSD, as well as three empty M.2 PCIe Gen 4.0 x4 slots and three SATA ports for extra storage. For connecting external storage drives or other peripherals, both the front and rear panels feature a plethora of ports. The front panel features two 20 Gb/s USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 x2 ports, four 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2.0 ports, and one headphone/microphone combo jack. The rear panel features three USB 2.0 ports, two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two dual-mode DisplayPort 2.1 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, and one audio line-out/retask line-in port. These ports allow you to connect mice, keyboards, headphones, speakers, monitors, and more. You can connect to a network via the RJ-45 Ethernet port on the rear panel.

HP includes a wired keyboard, a wired optical mouse, a compatible power supply, and a power cord with this PC. Windows 11 Pro (64-bit) is installed on this system.

Windows 11 Pro
Windows 11 has been completely redesigned from its predecessor to emphasize productivity, creativity, and ease of use. The customizable Start Menu is now at the center of the taskbar and utilizes the cloud, allowing you to quickly find and access recent files, regardless of what platform or device was previously used to view them. The streamlined Start Menu design also lets you pin apps and recent files in addition to powering down the system.
Security Lock
The rear panel of the PC features a security lock slot that can be used in conjunction with an optional security cable lock to secure the PC to a solid structure. Additionally, the padlock loop located on the rear of the chassis allows you to use an optional padlock to prevent unauthorized access to the internal components.
Additional Windows 11 Pro Features
The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access. Devices can also join domains and the Azure Active Directory and have access to Enterprise device management features. Windows 11 Pro does not require a Microsoft Account or an internet connection when setting up for the first time.
Adapting to You
The Adaptive Input feature automatically optimizes the Windows 11 interface to however you prefer to interact with your device, whether it's using a mouse, keyboard, touch, voice, or handwriting.
Microsoft Teams Integration
Stay connected with friends, family, coworkers, and clients with Microsoft Teams Chat integrated onto the Windows 11 taskbar. With a touch, you can connect to your contacts via text, voice, and video, regardless of whether they're using Windows, Android, or iOS devices. You can also communicate with those who don't have the Teams app installed using two-way SMS messaging.
