The VHS18 Video Fluid Head from Sirui produces smooth pans and tilts for video camera rigs weighing up to 39.7 lb. It features a side-loading quick release plate, a 1.2" plate sliding range, a quick release tie-down, an 8-step pan and tilt drag, independent pan and tilt locks, a 10-step counterbalance, and two detachable pan handles.
10-Step Counterbalance
The VHS18's 10-step counterbalance lets you adjust the balance to suit a variety of camera rigs weighing from 3.3 to 39.7 lb in both straight and tilted positions.
Pan and Tilt Drag
Use the eight pan and tilt drag steps to help balance your rig when adding or removing accessories.
Side-Loading Plate
A side-loading plate system enables you to mount your camera using a single hand. This quick release system incorporates a large lever to lock the safety pin that secures the camera plate. A sliding range of 1.2" lets you adjust your rig's balance when using lenses of different lengths.
Pan and Tilt Range
A pan range of 360° and a tilt range of -65 to 90° provide a variety of shooting angles.
Detachable Pan Handles
The pan handles are detachable and can be mounted on either side of the head for right- or left-hand use.
Quick Release Tie-Down
The VHS18 head features a quick release tie-down handle that lets you lock the head in place with just two turns. This 100mm half ball head includes an adapter ring for a 75mm half ball head.
