Cost Effective, For A Reason.

I Bought This Assuming It Could Verbatim Be Able To Decode 4k60 4:2:0 8-bit NDI HX3 In The Same Fidelity That The Source Was Encoded. Not A Chance. Extreme Banding And Decompression Artifacts Makes The Device Useless For Broadcast Use. While Attempting To Use NDI HB Instead, The Fans Would Run In Turbo Mode, Unsuitable For A Studio And It Seemed To Cap Out At Around 230Mbit/s, The NDI HB Source Produces A 500Mbit/s NDI HB Stream Which Is Out Of Spec, But Dialing It Down To Spec, You're Back To Poor Fidelity Which I'm Trying To Avoid. I Think The CNDLive Products Are For Ad Displays And Similar Use Cases, Not Broadcast. I'll Keep It Around To Use For Monitoring Purposes, Not Production.

Sets up easily with NDI. It decodes with minimal lag time. Bought another and will buy a third one shortly.
