Sporting curated DSP blocks specifically for bass, and supporting NAM and AIDA-X neural models and IRs, Anagram is built for the modern studio or live bassist.
The architecture of Anagram is designed to support future DSP blocks and upgrades, including third-party content. Real-time processing is handled by a dedicated OS, greatly reducing latency. Physical utilities include a bright 7" color touchscreen for clear and intuitive control, six endless rotary knobs for precision adjustment, and three versatile footswitches for aiding in live performance control. You can engage in even deeper editing and control, or upload your own presets, DSP blocks, and IR models with the USB-C connection and the Darkglass Suite app. The plentiful connections on the Anagram include stereo XLR and 1/4" outputs, an FX loop, 3.5mm MIDI I/O, USB MIDI, and a headphone output.

Performance Simplified
Anagram's preset system captures every detail of your setup—from signal chain and block settings to footswitch assignments and scenes. Switch between intuitive views to inspect your chain, edit control bindings, or rename your presets. Then choose a mode to let your footswitches navigate setups, toggle individual effects, or jump between scenes.
Essential Tools
- Looper: With one-touch control, start, stop, and overdub without interrupting your creativity. Your loops run independently of presets, switch tones without stopping playback.
- Tuner/Tempo: Tune your bass with precision, then set your global tempo without skipping a beat. Keep your delays locked to the groove. Turn the knob to set BPM between 40 and 300.
- Mixer: Set levels for line outs, XLRs and headphone output, all from a single view. Fine-tune your overall tone with the Global EQ, and add clarity across your entire rig.
Darkglass Suite Integration
Connect to the Darkglass Suite to upload and manage Cabinet IRs and neural models, refine presets and banks, and share or download via the Preset Hub. Keep your Anagram updated and ready to play.
Copious Connectivity
- 1/4" instrument input for connecting a bass guitar or pedalboard to your FX unit
- Send / Insert 1/4" TRS jack for either a stereo send or mono insert, ideal for creating FX loops
- Return 1/4" TRS input that supports either a stereo return or an expression pedal input
- Dual 1/4" and XLR outputs for stereo line connections. XLR outputs feature a software-controlled ground lift, and these connections can be used for stereo FX, splitting wet/dry signals, or multi-amp connections
- MIDI I/O over 3.5mm TRS connectors
- 3.5mm headphone output for silent practice or recording
- USB-C port for audio interface duties, Darkglass Suite app, and USB MIDI. Anagram can be powered via USB or an appropriate Power Delivery (PD) compatible USB-C power supply (not included)
