NextComputing EXTA-R99900X-01 Overview

Cut down video, photo, and 3D rendering times with the Edge XTA Tower Desktop Workstation from NextComputing. Built primarily for creative professionals, this system features a liquid cooled 4.4 GHz AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core processor with an NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation graphics card.

There is also 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory, upgradeable to 192GB, and a 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD that helps you to smoothly load and multitask demanding applications. Connect to compatible high-speed networks with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support and through the 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet port. The USB4 port allows you to transfer up to 20 Gb/s with compatible storage drives and other devices. Three 10 Gb/s compatible USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports are also available alongside four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports for 5 Gb/s devices. The two USB-A 2.0 ports may be reserved for peripherals such as the included wireless keyboard and mouse receivers. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

The AMD Ryzen 9 9900X 12-Core processor has a 4.4 GHz base clock speed and can reach up to 5.6 GHz.
NVIDIA RTX Ada Generation
Based on the Ada Generation architecture, the NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada graphics card features 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, accelerating graphical and rendering performance while delivering advanced features such as real-time ray tracing and AI. With support for the AV1 codec, this GPU can accelerate rendering performance with supported applications. The rear panel includes four mini DisplayPort connectors.
Expandable Storage
A total of three M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots are available. SATA storage drives may be installed into the two 3.5" and two 2.5" bays.
Windows 11 Pro
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.
