Plugable PS-10CC Overview

From Manufacturer

Clear the clutter of multiple power adapters and use the 10-Port Priority USB PD Charger from Plugable to recharge up to ten devices at once and prioritize which devices get power first. Using Plugable's PriorityShare technology, power is passed down the line to ensure important devices get power first and that each device is recharged with the maximum amount of power possible. Handy LED status lights update you on which devices have charged, which device is currently charging, and which devices are waiting to charge. Everything connected benefits from built-in protections against overvoltage and overcurrent as they recharge.

PriorityShare Charging
The top of the charger is clearly marked highest to lowest, letting you know where to plug in your most and least important devices. Charging starts with the device plugged into the "highest" USB-C port, where smart technology detects the device's needs and supplies it with as much power as possible. Once the device is fully charged, the charger directs incoming power to the next device in line, continuing until reaching the device plugged into the "lowest" USB-C port.

Charging times will vary greatly and are based on how much power is needed per device, what order they are in, and how much power the adapter is supplying. The charger supports USB PD chargers from 18W to 100W.

Eco-Friendly Construction
50% of the plastic and 75% of the aluminum used in the construction of this charger is from recycled material.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a helpful charging station. I use it often in my office. Several coworkers have taken notice of how useful it is. I do like how fast it charges. I wish it came with a power cord but that was a minor issue.

Good for traveling with multiple USB-C devices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a good device if you’re traveling with multiple people or if you’re at the airport with multiple usb-c devices. I like that it has indicators and the packaging also tells you what the indicators means and the lightings in the device; but as any device that has to connect to a plug and distribute that energy over multiple devices/ports the speed is not necessarily going to excel It’s going to take a bit longer and it was no different in this case. The first port is closest the the cable and it charges faster but overall with two phones it took a little while. It’s a good product when traveling but otherwise it may cause a delay in the charging of your devices.

Many USB C devices charge at different voltages, how does this handle charging multiple USB devices plugged in requiring different voltages?
Asked by: Matthew
For the Plugable 10-Port Priority USB PD Charger, B&H # PLPS10CC, each port can negotiate USB Power Delivery voltages independently. For example, a notebook computer connected to the left-most port may negotiate a 20V PDO, while a phone in the second priority port may negotiate 9V. The third legacy USB 5V device may charge from the third priority port at 5V.
