In addition to high responsiveness, the Odyssey enhances games and videos with realistically bright highlights and deep shadows. The built-in dynamic cooling system, which features a pulsating heat pipe and evaporating coolant, maintains optimal temperatures and helps to prevent burn-in. The thermal modulation system also automatically adjusts the screen brightness to reduce heat. Its stylish metal design is accented with rear-facing ambient CoreLighting+ RGB lighting. Adaptive Sync

It's alright, OSD joystick is flawed

The display looks good, but I feel the reviews here aren't truly authentic. They're all free products in return for a review if you read them more carefully, which I didn't before purchasing. The joystick for the screen menu is problematic. Sometimes you press to do something 2-3 times before it actually responds. I was curious and searched online to see if others had an issue and the other retailer sites reviews showed this monitor very badly rated with lots of complaints about the joystick completely breaking with photos from a few users. Wish I did more research before buying. The colors are good and the design is sleek, but the bezels are very large. Some of the photos make the bezels look tiny, but they're very big by todays standards. My friends OLED has tiny bezels compared to this monitor. The Samsung Display Manager software is very slow and buggy. It's suppose to be used to easily change some settings from the menu right on your desktop without having to use the joystick, but the app is constantly just a spinning cursor if you have certain apps open, like a game. So if im in a game and want to turn something like the black stabilizer on to see dark areas more easily, the app just sits spinning for a minute+ and does nothing. It's also very limited and only has a few of the OSD options available. It's very frustrating to use and I eventually gave up and uninstalled it. It's alright, OSD joystick is flawed

Excellent Monitor. The Only Small Downside Is That The Text Clarity Is Not Great. Probably Can Be Improved Via Software, But By Default, It's Not Great. Everything Else Is Excellent. You Will Benefit From This Monitor Even In Games That Do Not Reach 500 FPS. I Upgraded From 240Hz TN Panel And It Is *definitely* Worth It. The Included HDMI Cable Carries 500Hz At Full Resolution Without Any Problems. I Did Not Try The DP Cable, But I Am Sure That Would Work Too.
