Designed primarily for enthusiasts, this 2560 x 1440 resolution Quantum Dot OLED display delivers ultra smooth visuals by practically eliminating motion blur with a 500 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility removes screen tearing and stuttering with compatible graphics cards.

In addition to high responsiveness, the Odyssey enhances games and videos with realistically bright highlights and deep shadows. The built-in dynamic cooling system, which features a pulsating heat pipe and evaporating coolant, maintains optimal temperatures and helps to prevent burn-in. The thermal modulation system also automatically adjusts the screen brightness to reduce heat. Its stylish metal design is accented with rear-facing ambient CoreLighting+ RGB lighting. Connect your device using the DisplayPort and dual HDMI inputs. You can also connect peripherals such as a webcam through the monitor's two USB-A ports.

The VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certified Quantum Dot OLED panel also has a 1 million:1 static contrast and 300 nits brightness providing deep shadows and bright highlights to environments.

A 500 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time provide liquid smooth performance as you dodge, counter, and engage with opponents.
Adaptive Sync
Reduce screen tearing with AMD's FreeSync Premium Pro Technology and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility. Both enable the monitor to dynamically adjust its refresh rate to the frame rate being output by the graphics card, thereby greatly reducing screen tearing, stuttering, and other artifacts.

This is an amazing product, I absolutely recommend it for a better gaming experience

The joystick WILL break.

The plastic jog/joystick that's used for the power/menu button broke after ~6 months of normal use. If you search for this you'll find people complaining about this happening in as little as 1 day. "Surely it won't happen to me" I thought. They are all defective and your best bet is to stick to a different brand. It's allegedly covered under the 3 year warranty (at least what they told me, you'll read that others were all told it wasn't), but warranty repair requires you to ship the monitor, wait for repair, then have it shipped back; not an option since I was using this for both work (at home) and personal use.
