The clip mounting strip offers an 8" range of height adjustment, so it's easy to dial in the perfect fit. The mounting strip has no bulk to work around, so attaching a camera clip is easier than attaching to an ordinary padded backpack strap. The mounting strip is above the harness strap, which means the strap padding is behind the camera clip, so the clip won't dig into your body.
